Fast cars, hard conditions and plenty of action is what the Dakar Rally is known for. The famous desert rally took place in South America this year once again and the Dakar Press Team documented it around the Dutchman, Léon Jansen. The race started in Buenos Aires on January 2^nd.

For the second time, the Dakar Press team has durable Sachtler equipment on board their Toyota  and has subjected it to one of the hardest performance tests ever: heat, dust, wind and little care. In the year 2010 the cinematographers not only have the extremely robust Video 18 fluid head and the lightweight ENG 2 CF carbon fiber tripod with the Sachtler fast-action clamp on tour with them, but also the artemis DV Pro MD camera stabilizer system.
